I spoke with Justin Pichetrungsi about his journey transforming his family’s restaurant, Anajak Thai, into one of Los Angeles’ most celebrated dining experiences. As a fellow Thai, our conversation was especially meaningful — we talked about honoring family legacy, taking risks, and what it means to create something that’s both deeply personal and widely celebrated. What I loved most was how open he was about the balance between tradition and reinvention, and it left me inspired to carry that same mindset into my own work.
